In the name of God
Amen I Daniel Hollensworth of the County of Van Buren and State of Tennessee
being of sound mind and memory and considering the uncertainty of this frail
and transitory life do therefore make ordain Publish and Declare this to be my
last will and Testament that is to say first after all my lawful debts are paid
and discharged the residue of my Estate real and Personal I give bequeath and
dispose of as follows to wit to Phebe Hollensworth and Susan Hollensworth first
I give them one hundred acres of Land fifty acres each off my farm so as to
include all of my Buildings where I now reside said Land is to be laid off so
as to include Timber enough to keep up the same known as the farm of I Daniel
Hollensworth being in the County of Van Buren District No 2nd and State of
Tennessee also each one to have one cow and calf a peace also one horse each
four head of sheep each ten head of hogs each and all my household and
furniture. Secondly I give to my son John Hollensworth fifty acres of land off the
North East end of my farm known and discribed as above named also my wagon and
oxen Provided the above named heirs take good care of me while I live and see
that I am deasently Buried at my death all the rest real and Personal of my
Estate to be divided equally between the rest of my heirs likewise I constitute
and appoint my said son John Hollensworth to be executor of this my last will
and Testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made in witness whereof I
have hereunto subscribed my name and effixed my seal this August 23rd 1865

The above written
instrument was subscribed by the said Daniel Hollensworth in our presence and
acknowleged by him to each of us and he at the same time published and declared
the above to be his last will and Testament and we at the Testators request and
in his presence have signed our names as witnesses hereto and written oposite
our names our respective places of residence Witness Simon P. Dodson of Van
Buen County John B. Sparkman of Van Buren County. .
The foregoing will
was proved in open court Received and ordered to be recorded February term 1867
