My grandfather is Richard Alexander Mayes born 12 Sept 1880 in IL, died 8 July 1923 in Simpson Co. KY. Buried in Blackjack Cemetery, Simpson Co., KY. Married 26 Feb 1905 to Frances Ellen Wells, born 17 Nov.1888 in Fountain Head TN.died 8 Sept 1954,buried in Greenlawn Cemetery.
