I, John H Mayes have this day bargained and sold and do hereby transfer and convey to Aaron H Lovelady and his heirs forever, for the consideration of Two Hundred and fifty Dallors to me paid for a tract of land in the State of Tennessee, Sumner County and District No. 16 containing by estimation sixty acres, be the same more or less bound as follows - Beginning at a black Oak Wright's corner beginning East fifty seven poles to a Hickory, South one hundred and eleven poles to a Spanish Oak. North fifty poles to a Black Gum now cut down. North one hundred and four poles to the beginning containing by estimation Sixty acres more or less to have and to hold the same to the said Aaron H Lovelady, his heirs and asigns forever I do coveant with the said Aaron H Lovelady that I am lawfully owner of said land and have a good right to convey it and that the same is unimcumbered I do further convenient and bind myself my heirs and representatives to warrent and defend the title to the said land and every part thereof to the said Lovelady his heirs and assigns against the claims of all persons hereafter this the 21st of October 1856 .
