I John May do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner following to wit-I give and bequeath my Lande to my Executors herein after named and to the survivor & survivors of them which as may act and their Heirs for the purpose of selling as much thereof as will pay all my debts of every kinde and I do carefuly direct that no such Debt should become by the Act or Acts of limitation and I further direct that as much of my said lands shall be sold as will be sufficient ? ? ? on for stock or my other propertys that in the oppinion of my Executors or shall of them as shall act may be most likely to raise money for the purpose aforesaid._I give and bequeath to my beloved Mother Agness May the sum of twenty five pounds per annum for & during her natural life but if this Legacy should be found to be burthersome to my Estate I then Authorize my Executors in Lew thereof to convey to my said Mother a tract of Lande in some convenient part of the Kentucky Country that shall be worth at least two hundred pounds.I do hereby empower my Executors to Do and act in all cases respecting my lands in as full & ample a manner as I myself can do and do give them the same powers as especting  disputes About Title making Divisions & conveyences- as entering into compromises for the Adjustment of disputes, making exchanges of any part of my property and in all other cases to Do and Act in the same manner as if the property is as their own and they were acting for temselves---- I  further  Will & devise all the Rest  & R? of my Estate to my beloved Wife Ann May my children John & Polly to be equally Divided between them & their Heirs---But in case my Son John shall die before he arives at the Age of Twenty One without issue then I devise his part of my Estate to my Daughter Polly & her Heirs  and in case of Death of my said Daughter Polly before she arives at the Age of Twenty One without Issue I then devise her part of my estate to my said son John and his heirs and in case of both of their deaths befdore they arrive at the Age of Twenty One without issue I then devise their parts of my Estate to my Brothers Stephen & David and my Sisters Agness and Lucy to be equally divided them & their Heirs I Do give to the Survivor and Survivors of my Executors or of Such of them as may Act all the Powers and Authorities hereby intended to be given them Jointly in Case they should all Act and Do empower the Survivors and Survivor to Act Accordingly.
                I do appoint my Brothers William May and George May and my friend Harry Innis and my beloved Wife Ann executor & Executive of this my last Will and Testament and do hereby revoke all former Wills by me made. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & affixed my Seal this fifth Day of March 1790.
