Mrs. Crocia Mays departed this life on the 29th day of September 1872 and on the same day she died she called to us and said that she desired us to take notice and witness how she desired her property dispersed after her death and then directed that Samuel Mays her son, should pay to her son Richard Mays the sum of one hundred  and fity dollars out of the amount due her from said Samuel Mays and after that amount being paid to Richard Mays then the remainder of her property monies or other estate to be equally divided between her daughters Elizabeth Moore Rebecca Stubblefield abd son Leander Mays.
